# Shopware Store and Services

Shopware grows with your business in two common ways: extensions from the **Shopware Store**, and **Shopware Services** built and operated by Shopware.

## Shopware Store

The [Shopware Store](https://store.shopware.com/en/) is the central marketplace for extensions and themes. Install and configure extensions from the Administration without building everything from scratch.

If no extension fits, [agency partners](https://www.shopware.com/en/partner/agencies/) can build custom solutions.

## What Shopware Services Are

[Shopware Services](https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/shopware-services) are cloud features developed and operated exclusively by Shopware. They appear directly in the Administration, update automatically, and feel like part of Shopware — without a separate install from the Store.

**What this is / what this is not:** Services are Shopware’s own extras for everyday work in the Administration. They are not third-party extensions from the Store. Your shop keeps running if a Service is switched off or temporarily unavailable.

To use a Service, you usually need to **agree (opt-in)** once so it may access the shop data it needs. You manage Services under **Settings → Shopware Services**. There you can turn individual Services — or all of them — on or off at any time.

## What You Can Do With Services

Examples you will meet later in this learning path:

- **Copilot** — ask questions about Shopware and get help with daily admin tasks.
- **Image Editor** — cut out products and place them on new backgrounds.
- **3D Preview Generator** / **CAD to 3D** — prepare and preview 3D product assets.
- **Shopware Nexus** — connect Shopware to other systems with visual automation.
- **Shopware Payments** — manage payments in the Administration.
- **Shopware plans (recommendations)** — book a plan from the Community Edition when you need more features.

Availability can depend on your plan and Shopware version. The current list is in the [Services documentation](https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/shopware-services).

Later courses show you how to switch on AI tools and automation on this same screen — you only need the overview here.

## Summary
