# Product settings

Every guitar has a story, and you want your customers to find the perfect one to complement their melody. With Shopware's product listing settings, you can tune the browsing experience to be as harmonious as your guitars by configuring product listings to showcase your guitars in the best light.

## Scenario 1: Displaying your Latest Arrivals

You've just received a new collection of acoustic guitars, and you want customers to see them directly when they visit your site.

So you can adjust the default sorting to prioritize the newest arrivals.

1. Navigate to **Settings** -> **Product** in your Shopware administration panel.
2. In the **Sorting options** section, select **Add option**.
3. Give a name as **Newest Arrivals** and a technical name as **newest_arrivals**.
4. Activate it.
5. Select the sorting criteria to be **Release Date**, order as **descending** and click the check mark.
6. Save your settings.

## Scenario 2: Helping Customers Compare Options

Your product catalog includes guitars of various brands, styles, and price ranges. Customers need a way to easily explore their options without feeling overwhelmed.

A good way out of this would be to set a reasonable number of guitars per page to make browsing manageable.

1. Go to **Settings** -> **Product**.
2. Set **Number of products per page** to 6.
3. Save your changes.

### Scenario Checkpoint

The product pages will now display a curated number of guitars per page, with pagination to explore further options. This makes the browsing experience less cluttered and more inviting.
