# Let Copilot Do the Work — With Your Approval

The Knowledge Assistant explains *how*; **Copilot Agentic** can *do* the work. You describe a goal; the agent plans steps and prepares changes as drafts. Nothing is applied until you accept.

<Scenario title="From insight to action at Strum & Co.">

*“Show my lowest-performing products, put them on sale, create a landing page, and prepare customer notification.”* That used to mean days across analytics, merchandising, and content. Agentic can chain the steps — you still approve the draft.

## How Agentic Works

- **Draft and review** — changes wait for your approval.
- **@ mentions** — point to a product or category so the agent targets the right entity.
- If the request is unclear, Copilot asks before guessing.

### Example tasks

- Create a promotion with discount, rules, and validity.
- Edit products (price, properties, visibility) or organize categories.
- Create flows, languages/domains, or CMS layouts.
- Chain Data Insights with actions (for example find high stock → clearance group → promotion).

Example prompt: *“Create product Summer Sneakers at €79, stock 25, assign to @category-1, visible in the main sales channel.”*

## Scope, Limits, and Setup

Current boundaries:

- No personal-data workflows.
- No actions on commercial Rise/Evolve/Beyond-only features.
- Long tasks can abort; keep the browser tab open while a task runs.
- Agentic and Data Insights share **10 free requests** per month; higher usage needs **Intelligence+** (same Shopware Services screen as earlier).

Enable it:

1. Shopware **6.7.8.0** or newer.
2. Consent and enable services under **Settings → Services** (or **Shopware Services**).
3. Copilot Service at a supported version (see product docs; Agentic depends on Data Insights).
4. In the Copilot sidebar, open **Skills Overview** and confirm **Copilot Agentic** and **Data Insights** show a green dot.

## Prompt Clearly and Review

A strong prompt includes **goal**, **target** (ideally `@…`), **details** (prices, dates, codes), and **scope**.

- Weak: *“Put some products on sale.”*
- Strong: *“Reduce prices in @category-summer by 10% and add them to a new Sale category.”*

Before you approve, check entities, values, scope (how many items), and spot-check one or two results.

## Troubleshooting

If a capability is missing: check version, consent, Skills Overview green dots, and remaining usage (or Intelligence+ status under Shopware Services).

If Copilot cannot open an area or run an action: check the **Copilot role** under Copilot settings (gear) → **General**, and the permissions of that role under **Settings → Users & permissions**.

If Copilot responds but fails: clarify the prompt, check **Activity history** in the sidebar, then contact Shopware support if needed.

## Final Thoughts

Agentic saves time when prompts are specific and every draft is reviewed. Enable it via Shopware Services, stay inside supported scope, and treat approval as part of the task — not optional.
