# Discussions

The Hub's **Discussions** page is a signpost to the main places where the Shopware community talks. It currently points to:

- **Shopware Developer Chat** on Discord — mainly for development topics such as dev environments, plugin development, architecture, and technical questions. The main language is English.
- **Shopware User Forum** — mainly for setup, administration, configuration, plugin and app usage, and broader ecommerce questions. German is commonly used there.

## Choose the right channel

Use the Developer Chat when the question is primarily about building or debugging Shopware. Use the User Forum when the question is primarily about using or configuring Shopware, a plugin, an app, or an ecommerce process.

Before posting:

1. Search for an existing answer.
2. Include the Shopware version and relevant context.
3. Describe what you expected and what happened.
4. Remove credentials, customer data, and other sensitive information.
5. Share a minimal reproduction or error message when appropriate.

The Hub may show activity from community channels elsewhere, but it does not replace the channel's own rules or moderation. Use the current [Discussions page](https://hub.shopware.com/discussions) and [FAQ](https://hub.shopware.com/file/faq) for the latest routing information.
