--- title: Certifications | Shopware Community Hub description: >- Understand Shopware certification routes and how they differ from Hub learning achievements. canonical_url: >- https://hub.shopware.comhttps://hub.shopware.com/learn/unit/communityhub-certifications --- # Certifications - Find the Community Hub's certification area. - Distinguish a learning path, a Hub badge, and a formal certification. - Identify the role of the Academy Pass, learning content, and the certification exam. # Certifications The Hub's [Certifications](https://hub.shopware.com/academy-certifications) area is the starting point for formal Shopware certification routes. It is different from the general Learning Paths area and from the badges earned inside the Hub. ## Three related concepts - **Learning Path** — structured educational content organized into courses and units. - **Hub badge** — visible recognition of a learning, contribution, activity, or special achievement milestone. - **Certification** — a formal Shopware credential with a defined learning route and certification exam. Completing a learning path or earning a badge does not automatically mean that you hold the corresponding certification. ## Academy Pass and certification routes The Certifications page presents the Shopware Academy Pass and individual certification options. Depending on the certification, the page can describe an associated learning path, prerequisites, skills covered, exam format, and access or booking options. Use the current certification page to check: 1. Whether the certification matches your role and experience. 2. Which learning path or prerequisites are associated with it. 3. What the exam covers, how it is delivered, and how attempts or retakes work. 4. Whether an Academy Pass is relevant to your situation. Certification offerings and exam details can change. The live [Certifications page](https://hub.shopware.com/academy-certifications) is the authoritative source for current availability and requirements.
