# Shopware B2B Components for Merchants

# Shopware B2B Components for Merchants

In this learning path, you activate B2B Components for a customer account in Shopware 6. You can follow the exercises in the provided learning environment or in your own staging or test Shopware shop if it meets the requirements.

B2B Components extend an existing Shopware shop with modular and common B2B functions. When the feature set is enabled in your shop, your shop customer can act as a company account with employees, roles, organisation units, approval rules, quote workflows, budgets, and negotiated prices. This is not only supporting B2B scenarios, but also some complex B2C scenarios.

The focus here is using the features, not coding. You will work in the administration, follow the customer-side flow in the storefront, and connect each setting to a realistic buying scenario.

By the end of this learning path, you should be able to decide which B2B Components are relevant for you or a customer of yours if you are working in an agency or as a freelancer, activate them, and configure company accounts, employees, roles, Organisation Units, ordering workflows, budgets, and pricing so that B2B customers can buy the way their organisation actually works.

## What You Will Learn

This learning path moves through four stages:

- Foundations and activation: Understand the modular B2B model, the plan and version requirements, and how to enable B2B functions per customer and per customer group.
- Companies, employees, and roles: Manage company accounts with multiple employees, define roles and permissions, and structure larger companies with Organisation Units.
- Ordering workflows: Configure Order Approval, handle Quote Management, and enable Quick Order and Shopping Lists for faster, controlled purchasing.
- Pricing and budget control: Limit spending with Budget Management and apply negotiated prices automatically with Individual Pricing.

## Who This Is For

This learning path is designed for people who configure and run a Shopware shop for B2B customers.

It is especially relevant for:

- merchants who sell to other businesses and need company accounts
- shop administrators who configure customers, customer groups, and orders
- onboarding and customer success teams who set up B2B customers
- project managers who plan a B2B rollout and need to understand the available modules
- agencies and freelancers offering the feature set to their customers

## Prerequisites

Before you start this learning path, make sure you have:

- A basic understanding of Shopware 6 Administration (customers, customer groups, orders, and sales channels). You can build this in [User & Administration Essentials](/learn/path/user-essentials).
- Either use the provided learning environment, or use your own Shopware 6 shop with the Shopware Commercial extension on the Evolve or Beyond plan.
- If you use your own shop, use Shopware 6.7.8.0 or newer to cover all modules in this learning path.
- Basic familiarity with how your B2B customers place orders today, so you can map their process to the B2B modules.
