# Publish Your First Shopware Extension

This learning path prepares you to publish your first Shopware Store extension. It is designed as an onboarding step before final approval as an Extension Starter.

You will learn what it means to act as an Extension Partner, how the Extension Partner area in the Shopware Account works, how to choose the right extension type, how Store Review works, and how to prepare an extension for launch, operation, monetization, and support.

The path does not only focus on writing code. It connects the technical extension with the product around it: Store listing, partner profile, configuration, lifecycle behavior, review readiness, monetization, and merchant support.

By the end of this learning path, you should understand that publishing your first Shopware extension is not only about submitting an extension. It is about offering a maintained product that merchants can understand, install, use, and trust before and after the first Store submission.

## What You Will Learn

This learning path moves through three stages:

- Partner foundations: understand the Extension Partner role, the partner workspace in the Shopware Account, extension types, and the Store Review process.
- Technical quality: build within supported Shopware boundaries, design clear configuration and external service behavior, and prepare testing, security, and storefront-facing functionality for real merchant and customer use.
- Store launch and operation: create a strong Store listing, handle lifecycle behavior, package releases correctly, and plan monetization, support, and maintenance responsibilities.

## Who This Is For

This learning path is designed for individuals and organizations that want to develop, publish, manage, or commercially offer extensions in the Shopware ecosystem.

It is especially relevant for:

- developers preparing their first Shopware Store extension
- future Extension Partners who need to complete onboarding before final approval
- agencies and technology partners planning a Store-ready product
- product owners who coordinate extension listing, support, and monetization
- teams that want to understand Store Review expectations before submission

## Prerequisites

Before you start this learning path, make sure you have:

- A concrete extension idea or an interest in publishing extensions in the Shopware Store.
- Basic technical understanding of apps, plugins, themes, or access to a developer who can support the implementation.
